Using PDFs
What's a PDF?
PDF is the abbreviation of "Portable Document Format", and is a
special format for viewing and printing documents which have been
downloaded from the Web.
How do I open a PDF?
Some of the documents available on The Children's Mutual website
are in PDF format. If the PDF documents do not open when you click
on them, it may be because you do not have Adobe® Reader® software
installed on your computer. Adobe Reader is available free and it's
easy to install. Once installed, it will enable your computer to
read PDF documents whenever you need to. Click on the link below to
download Adobe Reader:

Using Screen readers and PDFs
All new PDF documents are created with Adobe Acrobat Version 8.0
and should be accessible to new screen readers. Visitors using
screen-reading devices generally cannot directly read documents in
PDF format.
An alternative means of reading PDFs – converting the PDF to
HTML
By converting a PDF into HTML, it can be read or printed from
the screen as plain text without having to use Adobe Reader. To
convert a PDF, copy its URL and paste it into the text box in this
website:
