Youngster Bond Extra

Private Medical Insurance for kids

We've teamed up with AXA PPP healthcare to introduce you to First Healthcare. It's a private medical insurance plan specially designed for children.

Will writing service for your child's future

Choosing the right time to make a will is never easy, but by providing this service with Flint Bishop we hope to make the process a little simpler.

You're probably aware that if your child was born on or after 1 September 2002 they'll benefit from the Government's Child Trust Fund (CTF) scheme - which offers an easy and efficient way to build up a lump sum for them to use at 18.

What if my child is too old to qualify for a Child Trust Fund account?

The good news is, there are other ways you could build up a lump sum for your child to use when they're older - some with their own tax advantages. One of these is our Youngster Bond Extra plan.

Youngster Bond Extra benefits

  • An investment plan for children not eligible for the Child Trust Fund
  • From The Children's Mutual – we're the only UK company that specialises in savings for children
  • Allows you to decide how many years the plan will run – from 10 to 25 years
  • The final payout is normally free from personal tax (you can find out more about this in the Key Features document below)
  • You can pay in from as little as £10 to £25 a month

What's more, under current regulations, the fund benefits from investment growth free from income and capital gains taxes, which helps the fund's performance. Of course, laws do change, so these favourable tax arrangements may not be available in the future.
