Junior ISA or Child Trust Fund?
Are you confused by which Government savings scheme is available
to your child? If you are, we’ve outlined key details below:
- Children born from 1 September 2002 to 2 January 2011
(and in receipt of Child Benefit) - Qualify for
a Child Trust Fund (CTF) voucher from the Government to open
and kickstart a CTF
account.
The Children's Mutual manage over 900,000 CTFs (as at December
2010) and are proud to continue to do so.
- Children born from 3 January 2011 and under 18s born
before 1 September 2002 (and a resident of the UK) - For
these children, the Government has confirmed the Junior ISA will be
available from 1 November 2011.
