A new game has been unveiled that is designed to encourage healthy eating.
Called Bellybusters, it is being tried out in two schools in Sandwell in the West Midlands.
The title looks to persuade youngsters of the need to consume nutritious produce and take regular exercise, which will ensure that kids stay healthy.
Councillor Bob Badham noted it is important that a message such as this is put across to children.
"If this new game can help youngsters to get information about the need for healthy eating and exercise it will be very worthwhile," he said.
As part of the holiday activity programme, the game and other related titles will be touring libraries in the borough.
Linda Main, a dietitian for HEART UK – The Cholesterol Charity, recently said families need to avoid processed foods as they are laced with salt, sugars and saturated fats.
Instead, individuals should be looking to consume fruit, vegetables and wholegrains as they offer people a range of essential and beneficial nutrients.
