Families living in the London area should head to Godstone Farm if they want a great day out.
The location has just picked up the Best Family Day Out accolade at the annual Mamas & Papas Awards.
Voting was carried out by members of the public and so it is clear the destination is regarded highly by parents who have been there.
Jackie Flaherty, one of the owners of Godstone Farm – which is set in the Surrey countryside – observed she is "over the moon" with the win.
"It just came as such a surprise when we found out. We got an e-mail out of the blue telling us that we had been nominated and then to find out we had won was just brilliant," she stated.
According to the farm's own website, the location is perfect for children and adults thanks to the interesting animals to see and the exciting play areas.
The awards were held in honour of the release of Mum and Dad's The Word, a guide that points out all of the best independent shops, playgrounds and days out venues that parents should be aware of.
