This section of our website tells you
more about us, our management team (the Board) and includes other
information that you might want to know about our organisation.
The Children's Mutual is a trading name of the Tunbridge Wells
Equitable Group, which includes the parent organisation Tunbridge
Wells Equitable Friendly Society Limited, a mutual organisation.
Mutual organisations are effectively owned by, and run for the
benefit of, their members and customers.
Tunbridge Wells Equitable is committed to complying with the
Annotated Combined Code on Corporate Governance that applies to
mutual insurers.
Customer relations
Our Board believes it is important to hear customers' views and
opinions so they can understand the issues that affect people
dealing with our organisation. Members of the Board have
demonstrated their commitment by listening into customer calls in
our call centre, and by reviewing samples of customers'
complaints – including how we've responded to those
complaints.
We also use other ways to engage with our customers, such as
surveys, market research, parents' panels and discussion with
customers at our AGM and Family Funday.
The 'Corporate information leaflet' below contains an overview
of our mission, history and key products as well as more
information about our commitment to our customers. The 'Customer
Impact' document tells you about our participation in the
Association of British Insurers (ABI) Customer Impact survey.
